Eligibility & Enrollment
- Who is eligible: Full-time employees (30+ hours/week) after the new-hire waiting period.
- Dependents: Children to age 26 (medical may extend to 30); disabled children at any age.
- Elections are locked from 12/01/2025 through 11/30/2026 unless you have a qualifying life event.
Qualifying Life Events
You may change your elections within 30 days of:
- Birth or adoption of a child
- Marriage or divorce
- Death of a dependent
- Loss or gain of other coverage
- Change of residence affecting plan availability
- COBRA qualifying event
- Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO)

How often do I get paid?
UNCS runs payroll bi-weekly (every two weeks), resulting in 26 pay periods per year. Benefit deductions shown on this page are calculated per pay period.
Where do I see my deductions?
All benefit deductions (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)) appear as line items on your pay stub in the ADP portal. Pre-tax deductions reduce your taxable income.
Who do I contact about pay issues?
Email HR@UNCS.COM for any payroll questions, discrepancies, or direct deposit changes.

Getting Started
- Enroll: Contact HR@UNCS.COM for enrollment forms and information about available investment options.
- Change Contributions: Log in to the provider portal to adjust your contribution percentage at any time.
- Update Beneficiaries: Review and update your beneficiary designations through the provider portal or by contacting HR.
